Court Rules Effort To Remove Socialist From Seattle City Council Over Role In Riots May Proceed

Kshama Sawant is a radical leftist and socialist who serves on the Seattle city council.

Last spring during the riots, Sawant allegedly let a mob of rioters into Seattle city hall. She apparently wanted to be part of the action.

Now people are trying to remove her from the council. She has taken legal steps to stop the effort but Washington’s highest court just ruled against her.
