Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth’s Husband, Dead at 99
Buckingham Palace on Friday announced the death of Prince Philip.
Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth’s husband, died at the age of 99.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.” the announcement from Buckingham Palace said.
“His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
Prince Philip recently spent a month in the hospital for treatment for an infection and to have a heart procedure.
