MLB’s Net Favorability With Republicans Tanks To 12% After Bonehead Move
Republicans are done with the MLB.
According to a new poll from Morning Consult, Major League Baseball’s favorability rating with Republicans has tanked since they moved the All-Star Game out of Atlanta.
In March, the MLB had a net favorability rating of 47% among Republican voters. In less than a month that sunk to just 12%.
The MLB is now less popular among Republican voters than even the NFL.
From Morning Consult:
New data from Morning Consult Brand Intelligence, which tracks consumer attitudes, indicates that MLB’s net favorability rating among Republicans plummeted from 47 percentage points in mid-March to just 12 points at the end of last week, following the league’s decision to relocate its events.
