Congresswoman Cori Bush on Heroic Police Shooting of Knife-Wielding Ma’Khia Bryant: “Stop Killing Us and Our Babies”
There is something seriously wrong in the progressive mindset when a heroic police officer prevents a stabbing attack by shooting and killing the attacker with marksman accuracy as the attacker raises their knife to stab their intended victim–and police get blamed for killing the attacker.
Freshman Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), representing St. Louis in Congress, added her comments to those on the left who think it is wrong for police to stop Black children from stabbing each other to death because of racism or something.
“Ma’Khia Bryant was a 16-year-old baby. She was shot and killed by police yesterday. This is why no single verdict can deliver justice. Convictions don’t save lives. Convictions don’t end violent policing. Stop killing us and our babies.
