Missouri House Approves Annual “Rush Limbaugh Day” to Honor Medal of Freedom Winner
The Missouri House of Representatives approved a measure to honor Medal of Freedom Winner Rush Limbaugh with an annual Rush Limbaugh Day in the Show Me State.
Rush Limbaugh was awarded the Medal of Freedom for his outstanding work during President Trump’s State of the Union Address in February 2020.
Rush died from lung cancer less than a year later.

The Missouri House on Thursday voted in favor of creating “Rush Limbaugh Day.”
The GOP-led House tacked the provision on another bill, which then passed the chamber.
