The CDC announced on Thursday that fully vaccinated people don’t have to wear masks indoors.

“If you are fully vaccinated, you are protected, and you can start doing the things that you stopped doing because of the pandemic,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said at a White House press briefing.

Under the new guidance, people will still be required to wear masks in ‘crowded’ public places such as planes, buses, hospitals, prisons etc.

It is unclear how businesses are going to differentiate between vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
