California – A gang banger and convicted double murderer is set to be released from San Quentin State Prison on June 7th thanks to the Marxist Los Angeles DA’s reforms.

Convicted double murderer Howard Jones was denied parole in 2015 and 2017 but parole was approved in his third hearing in 2021 when prosecutors were unable to attend under DA George Gascón’s reforms.

The granting of parole then went through a 120 day review period, which included Governor Newsom’s review.
Dianne Baker-Taylor, the sister of one of Jones’ victims, says the family wrote to Newsom, but never heard back.
