Boris Johnson: UK Evacuation Efforts at Kabul Airport Will Continue Despite Terror Attack “Until the Last Moment”
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson released a video statement Thursday on the terror attack at Hamid Karzai International Airport that the United Kingdom would continue evacuation efforts “until the last moment.” No British soldiers were reported wounded or killed. At least ten U.S. service members are reported killed in the attack. Several Afghans were also killed in the bombing outside a gate to the airport with likely over a hundred wounded.
