Trump Hater Rep. Adam Kinzinger Announces He Will Not Run for Reelection
Facing growing unpopularity in his party and a tough redistricting by unsympathetic Democrats in his home state, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) announced Friday he will not run for reelection next. Kinzinger is one of the few remaining anti-Trump GOP congressmen left in the House, second only in notoriety to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY). Kinzinger and Cheney are the only two Republicans serving on the House investigation into the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
Kinzinger made his announcement to not run via video posted to social media.
