Biden Ignores 30th Anniversary of Fall of Soviet Union
Joe Biden ignored the anniversary of the fall of the Soviet Union which occurred thirty years ago on December 25,1991. The anniversary fell as Russian President Vladimir Putin is threatening the former Soviet captive nation of Ukraine with invasion. There have been no statements from either the White House, State Department or Secretary Blinken on the anniversary of the greatest U.S. military and diplomatic triumph of the latter half of the Twentieth Century.
30 years ago, On the night of December 25, 1991, at 7:32 p.m. Moscow time, after Gorbachev left the Kremlin, the Soviet flag was lowered and the State Anthem of the Soviet Union was played for the last time, and the Russian tricolor was raised in its place at 7:45 pm.
