Details Emerge of Derek Chauvin’s Awful Prison Life
Awful new details have emerged about former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin’s life in prison.
Chauvin, 45, was sentenced to 22 and a half years in prison for second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for his role in George Floyd’s death.
For the last eight months, while he has been imprisoned, Chauvin has been in the high security Administrative Control Unit inside Minnesota Correctional Facility-Oak Park Heights.
According to a new report from TMZ, Chauvin has “surveillance cameras on his every move, and the prison staff checks on him every 30 mins.”
“A rep for the facility tells us Chauvin remains isolated, without job opportunities, educational programs or contact with other inmates.
