It’s Official: California is Now a Universal Vote-by-Mail State

This is exactly what the Democrats want in every state.

California’s universal vote-by-mail became permanent on Saturday after Governor Newsom used Covid as an excuse to mail out millions of ballots during the 2020 election.

Governor Gavin Newsom signed the bill into law in September and it went into effect January 1, 2022.

Under the new law, all voters will be mailed ballots for statewide and local elections.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

California’s pandemic-inspired move toward mailing a ballot to every registered, active voter will become a permanent part of the state’s political landscape, an embrace of an extended and flexible voting process instead of the traditional focus on a single day of voting in person.
