A manhunt is now underway for 31-year-old Shawn Laval Smith for the murder of UCLA grad student Brianna Kupfer.
Police officers identified Shawn Smith just hours after LAPD released new video of him walking into a convenient store shortly after he fatally stabbed Kupfer.
Shawn Laval Smith has a long rap sheet and has been arrested many times.
