“School Bus Beating of Special Needs Child: Black Girls Caught on Camera Pummeling Victim, Mother to Sue”
Shocking footage from a Miami-Dade school bus has sent waves of fear and outrage through the community, as it captured two black girls savagely beating a 15-year-old special needs child. On the victim’s birthday, no less.
The video, obtained by CBS News Miami, begins with the student desperately trying to defend herself, before the two larger girls overpower her. While the bus driver can be heard shouting, a mere 13 seconds into the clip, another girl arrives to join the assault.
The pummeling continues for another 13 seconds before the bus driver finally screams for the assailants to “get off this damn bus”. The victim suffered a concussion as a result of the vicious attack.
The incident comes shortly after another school bus beating in Homestead, just 15 miles away, in which a nine-year-old girl was viciously attacked by teenage thugs. One of the teens involved is now facing criminal battery charges.
The victim’s mother has since hired an attorney to sue the school for failing to protect her daughter. “That should’ve not happened, my daughter should’ve been protected,” said Johanna Velez.
