Attorney for Steve Bannon Issues Statement Following Court of Appeals Decision

The court ruled that it does not possess the authority to overturn a precedent set by a 1961 Court of Appeals panel concerning the interpretation of “willfully” in the Contempt of Congress statute. This decision pertains to Bannon’s ongoing legal struggles following his non-compliance with a congressional subpoena to sit before Nancy Pelosi’s sham January 6 Select Committee.
