Mohave County Supervisor Ron Gould is demanding a new trial for Abe Hamadeh’s electoral contest. The Gateway Pundit reported that Hamadeh filed a ‘Motion for New Trial’ after a statutory recount in Pinal County revealed hundreds of votes were miscounted, bringing the margin of victory to just 280 votes out of over 2.5 million cast in the closest race in Arizona history.

Katie Hobbs, Arizona’s Secretary of State, withheld key evidence from the court prior to the lawsuit’s dismissal. Furthermore, Hobbs’ lawyers requested a delay on presenting the recount results before the lawsuit was dismissed.

In response, Hamadeh is calling for a statewide ballot inspection to determine if votes were wrongfully discarded or counted. Gould published an Op-Ed in Havasu News which condemned the government’s failure to count every legal vote in a close election, noting that it undermines the integrity of the election process and the justice system itself.

Gould then took a jab at Maricopa County, which makes up 60% of the state’s voting population, for running an “abysmal Election Day.” The Gateway Pundit reported that nearly 1/4 million vote attempts were rejected on Election Day due to tabulator failures
