“U.S. and NATO Military Leaders’ Incompetence Revealed in Brussels Press Conference”
If you’re wondering why the United States failed to prevail in Iraq and Afghanistan, look no further than Tuesday’s press conference of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels. The remarks by Lloyd Austin and General Mark Milley revealed two utterly deluded military leaders with a complete lack of self-awareness.
The sheer gall of these two military failures to advise Ukraine on fighting a first-world military, let alone the fact that they couldn’t even defeat a group of goat herders and tribesmen with no air, helicopters, or artillery, is the definition of chutzpah. At Austin’s opening remarks, he accused Russia of deliberately targeting civilians (a lie), while ignoring the last eight years of Ukraine killing its own in the Donbas. He then accused Putin of causing world chaos, despite the shortages of food and oil, and collapsing economies in Europe being self-inflicted wounds by NATO.
